OECD threatens to cancel J'lem conference

The Organization of Economic Cooperation Development is threatening to cancel a conference scheduled to take place in Jerusalem in two weeks time following statements made by Tourism Minister Stas Misezhnikov who said the gathering constitutes recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital.

OECD chief Angel Gurria said in a letter that the minister must correct his statements and place the meeting in its proper perspective. (Ronen Medzini)
