The Muslim Brotherhood, Egypt's largest opposition group, says it will contest 30% of the 518 parliamentary seats up for grabs in next month's elections as it steps up its challenge to the ruling regime.
The group's leader Mohammed Badie told reporters Saturday that the group will give an exact number of candidates later but it hopes to increase its stake in parliament from the current 20 percent level. (AP)
