Governor of the Bank of Israel, Stanley Fischer, was awarded the "Banker of the Year" title for 2010. Fischer was selected among governors from other central banks in the Middle East and north Africa.
Fischer was awarded the title during the annual International Monitory Fund convention in Washington D.C. (Zvi Lavi)
