Foreign Ministry names new ambassadors

The Foreign Ministry has announced a series of ambassador appointments subject to the government's approval on Sunday. It was declared that Yaakov Amitai will replace Israel's Ambassador to Cairo Yitzhak Levanon who has retired.
The names of new envoys in Brazil, Belgium, Madrid and Peru were also announced. (Ronen Medzini)
