Livni: Peace deal is in Israel's interest

Opposition Chairwoman Tzipi Livni said during a meeting with European foreign ministers Bernard Kouchner and Miguel Moratinos that Israel should reach a peace deal "on all the conflict's open issues."
Livni added, "It's an Israeli interest which will safeguard Israel's values as a Jewish and democratic state. Time does not work in our benefit and this is the time to make the appropriate decisions, move forward in negotiations and end the conflict. I will support any decision which will advance the peace process." (Attila Somfalvi)
