PM: Won't waive security arrangements, recognition as Jewish state

At the opening of the third session of the 18th Knesset, Prime Minister Netanyahu stated that he would insist on recognition of Israel as the Jewish state and security arrangements in negotiations with the Palestinians.
"We must stand firm, fearless, with visible security arrangements – in order to ensure peace in theory and in practice, and defend our existence and security", said Netanyahu.
