Former global leaders to visit Israel on peace mission

The Elders, a delegation of former global leaders promoting peace solutions will arrive in Israel next week as part of an effort to recruit regional support for peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians.

Among the leaders to arrive will be former US President Jimmy Carter and former President of Ireland Mary Robinson who will head the mission. The leaders will also visit Egypt, Syria and Jordan. (Ronen Medzini)
