State Department counter-terrorism coordinator says US travel advisory on Europe still in effect
The US still believes Britain and the rest of Europe is at grave risk from a terrorist attack, a government official has warned.
US State Department counter-terrorism coordinator Daniel Benjamin said Thursday that the terror plot remained active and a travel alert will stay in force.

Concerns have centered around a plot using assault weapons on public places similar to the 2008 Mumbai massacre.
"We don't view the conditions as warranting us rescinding the (travel) alert," he said.
Britain's current terror threat level remains unchanged at "severe," meaning an attack is highly likely.
