Violence breaks out in protest of separation fence
Approximately 50 Palestinians, Israeli citizens, and foreigners gathered by the separation fence next to the West Bank village of Bilin, and threw stones at Israeli security forces. Approximately 40 more protestors gathered next to nearby village of Naalin.
More violent disturbances were reported close to the West Bank village of Nabi Salah and the east Jerusalem village of Silwan, where Palestinians threw stones towards Jewish homes and Border Guard troops. One protestor was hurt by a rubber bullet shot at him by security forces. Protest organizers report violence coming from the side of the police officers and soldiers in the area.
