Shlomo Rasabi: They brought the alcohol

Israeli millionaire, wife arrested for sons' drunken bash

Shlomo Rasabi says he didn't know some 500 teens were getting drunk to ear-splitting music downstairs

An Israeli millionaire has been arrested along with his wife for allowing their sons to hold a party for approximately 500 drunken teenagers in their Florida mansion.

The parents said they had been in their room the whole time and did not realize the bash hosted by their sons, ages 16 and 17, had grown so large and disorderly.

Officers responding to a noise disturbance call, found “five juveniles vomiting outside” the $10 million residence in Boca Raton.

Officer Richard Guberman said he saw “four female juveniles lying on the front lawn”, and, inside, “approximately 500 minors", most of them holding alcoholic beverages.

After alighting upon the two Rasabi boys, officers made their way to the master bedroom, where they discovered the parents. The 59-year old Israeli told police that he "didn’t even know all these kids were here, they all brought alcohol into the house”.

“It was never supposed to get this big, I was in my room the whole time," he added. Jeannie Rasabi, 43, said she had planned the party but had agreed not to venture downstairs at her son's behest.

It remains unclear how the two could have ignored the ear-splitting music originating in their home. They were arrested and taken to the courthouse, where a judge decided to send them home. Six teens were also arrested at the party for underage drinking.
