The US announced it was disappointed with Israel's decision to issue tenders for the construction of some 240 housing units in the Pisgat Ze'ev and Ramot neighborhoods, located beyond the Green Line.
Washington said the decision to build in east Jerusalem hinders the efforts to resume the direct Israeli-Palestinian negotiations. (AFP)
