German Chancellor Angela Merkel said that Germany's multicultural model "failed miserably."
Speaking in front of Christian-Democratic Union party youth, Merkel said, "Although there is a shortage in laborers in Germany, which will make the situation difficult without immigrants, the foreigners must adopt the German language and culture." (AFP)
