King of Jordan: EU must support renewal of direct talks
King Abdullah II of Jordan met with Greek Foreign Minister Dimitris Droutsas in Amman and underlined the significance of the European Union's role in the peace process in the Middle East. He told Droutsas that it is important that the union continues supporting the efforts to restart the direct talks between the Palestinians and Israel.
The king also called for the creation of an atmosphere that supports the renewal of the direct talks, while ending the unilateral actions, including construction on West Bank territories. (AFP)
