Minister: More enforcement won't prevent 'honor' killings

Internal Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch said following a murder in Lod that increased law enforcement won't prevent "honor killings", but rather a change in "culture, education, deterring punishment and improved infrastructure."
Following the incident, Aharonovitch instructed police to boost their presence in the city and collect firearms from residents. (Yair Altman)
