Education minister: Standardized exam scores encouraging

Education Minister Gideon Sa'ar says eh is pleased with the standardized Meitzav exam scores published Thursday, despite significant gaps between the rich and the poor. The results are good and encouraging, he said.
According to Sa'ar, the gradual improvement in grades proves that the education system is meeting its goals. Sa'ar added that he believes we will see further improvement in Israeli students' scores in the national standardized exams to be taken six months from now. (Tomer Velmer)
