Meridor to Carter: Hamas meetings harm peace process
Deputy Prime Minister Dan Meridor criticized former US President Jimmy Carter and former Ireland President Mary Robinson for meeting with Hamas leaders, during his meeting with them in Jerusalem on Friday.
Meridor told them that every meeting with Hamas weakens the Palestinian Authority and harms the peace process. Carter and Robinson are part of the "Elders" organization delegation composed of former government officials visiting the region. The delegation has already met with Syrian officials. (Roni Sofer)
