Hundreds clash with security forces in anti-fence rallies

Some 240 Palestinians and Israeli and foreign left-wing activists are clashing with the security forces in four different rallies held in protest of the separation fence. The rallies are being held in the villages of Naalin, Bilin and Nabi Salih in the Ramallah area, as well as near Umm Salmona – south of Bethlehem.

The protestors are said to be hurling stones at the security forces, who are responding with crowd dispersal means. There have been no reports of injuries so far. (Yair Altman)
