Zvi Shalit apologizes for doubting Netanyahu's knowledge of grief

The grandfather of kidnapped soldier Gilad Shalit, Zvi, apologized for a speech he made Friday in which he said he doubted whether Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu knew what grief was.
"I apologize that my comments sounded as though I doubted the grief of Prime Minister Netanyahu, who lost his brother Yoni in a heroic operation to free hostages. What was said was out of deep sorrow and frustration, which stems from the lack of decision by the prime minister on releasing Gilad from the Hamas dungeons after nearly four and a half years," he said.
