Ministerial committee approves anti-hunting amendment

A ministerial committee on legislative affairs approved an amendment to a law initiated by the Environmental Protection Ministry and the Israel Nature and Parks Authority, granting protection to all wild animals.
The amendment canceled the previous arrangement regarding the issuing of hunting permits, and effectively bans sport hunting in Israel. (Erez Erlichman)
