Syria to UN: Stop Israel from stealing Golan water

Syria appealed to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon to stop Israel from "stealing water from the Golan Heights" on Tuesday.
The letter was sent by Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al Muallem who called upon the international community to "take responsibility" and act to prevent the "natural resource exploitation in the occupied territories". (AFP)
