Armenian, Iranian convicted of spying in Armenia

An Armenian court has convicted an Iranian and an Armenian on charges of spying for neighboring Azerbaijan.

Armenia's Prosecutor General's office said that the court in the capital, Yerevan, on Monday sentenced Iranian citizen Bager Bageri to 10 years in prison and former Armenian military officer Gevork Airapetian to 12 years in prison. (AP)
