Knesset rejects Proposal to ban clerics from IDF bases

The Knesset rejected MK Nitzan Horowitz's (Meretz) proposal to ban clerics from entering IDF police force bases.
According to the proposal, clerics would be banned from entering police and IDF facilities in their official capacity. They would be banned from making speeches and banned from carrying out religious ceremonies in front of IDF soldiers or police officers unless they receive approval from a senior level. (Roni Sofer)
