Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is examining the possibility of paying certain African nations to accept migrant workers that Israel will deport. Netanyahu, who sees illegal immigrants as a "demographic threat to Israel," is considering appointing an official to begin negotiations with these north African nations.
According to estimations, approximately 1,200 illegal workers immigrate to Israel from Africa every month, very few of whom get a refugee status. (Attila Somfalvi)
