UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon said that he is concerned about Hezbollah being armed, and that the organization should get rid of its weapons.
Ban Ki-Moon wrote in a report that local and foreign militias are active within Lebanon without government control, and that the the only way to disarm Hezbollah and other terrorist groups is through political action within Lebanon. He called on Hezbollah to become a political party and nothing else. (AFP)
