The UN court investigating the 2005 killing of Lebanese statesman Rafik al-Hariri condemned what it described an attack on its staff in Beirut on Wednesday and said it would not be deterred from continuing its inquiry.
The tribunal said in a statement that two investigators with their female interpreter went to a pre-arranged meeting accompanied by judicial police and the army when a group of people showed up unexpectedly and attacked the investigators. (Reuters)
