Egypt's FM: No breakthrough in Mideast talks

Following a meeting in Ramallah with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Egypt's Foreign minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit said there has been no breakthrough in restarting Israeli-Palestinian talks, which have run aground over Israeli settlement building.

He said Egypt, an important mediator, supports the Palestinian position. (AP)
