At least 20 armed men in masks surrounded a Moscow bank building controlled by the Russian tycoon who owns Britain's Independent and Evening Standard newspapers on Tuesday, one of his aides said.
"This is known as a mask show in Russia: there are 20 or 30 people in masks and carrying automatic weapons," Artyom Artyomov, an aide to the businessman, Alexander Lebedev, said by telephone. "They have surrounded the building and Lebedev is inside. We do not know what these men in masks want." (Reuters)
