Tel Aviv police officials have decided to ban the secular march meant to take place in Bnei Brak on Thursday. The police have suggested an alternative route to the organizers, fearing rioting and injuries.
"It's not okay for them to secure the gay and lesbian parade in Jerusalem and the right-wing demonstrations in Umm al-Fahm (Arab town in Israel), but declined to secure an IDF reserve soldiers' protest at the center of an Israeli city," said Attorney Gil Solomon, one of the organizers.
