MKs read student speeches against yeshiva student bill
Knesset members from the Kadima faction are taking advantage of the one-minute speech time in the Knesset plenum to attack the yeshiva student stipend bill using speeches sent to them by (regular) students around the country.
The gimmick is part of a public campaign led by Kadima against the proposed law which increases the grants and support to yeshiva students, known as "Gafni's bill" after MK Moshe Gafni (United Torah Judaism). (Roni Sofer)
