Former PM Olmert slams Barak's performance as Defense Minister

Former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert attacked the way Defense Minister Ehud Barak conducted himself in response to the May flotilla incident.

"I have heard recently that political echelon is responsible only for approving a mission, but not responsible for its technical details," he said. "Let me tell you this: There has never been a defense minister that didn't know all the technical details of a mission before approving it.
