Livni: Weak US president is dangerous for Israel
Opposition leader MK Tzipi Livni commented on the US Midterm elections results, and said, "To think that a weak American president or a weak United States is good for Israel is not only nonsense, but also dangerous."
Speaking to the Knesset plenum, Livni added that "the relationship with the United States is extremely important, and those who realize that Israel's national interest is obtaining a political settlement, also understand that a strong American president is an asset for Israel." (Roni Sofer)
