Al-Qaida No. 2 vows revenge for imprisoned woman

In a new audio message, al-Qaida's second in command vowed revenge for the imprisonment of Pakistani female scientist convicted of trying to kill US interrogators in Afghanistan.

Ayman al-Zawahri threatened new attacks on the United States for the 86-year sentence handed down to Aafia Siddiqui. "We will fight you until the day of judgment," he said in a message that appeared on extremist websites Thursday. (AP)
