UK announces more air cargo security measures
Britain's government says it will require tighter screenings of air cargo passing through the UK because of the recent mail bomb plot.
Transport Secretary Philip Hammond says cargo originating from some cites in India, Qatar, Pakistan, Iran, Bangladesh, Thailand, the Maldives, Sudan and Libya will have to be re-screened after arriving in the UK before being loaded onto onward flights. (AP)
