Nuclear waste shipment facing German protests
German police were bracing for a massive demonstration Saturday against a nuclear waste shipment by protesters angered at a government move to delay the long-planned closure of the country's nuclear plants.
Organizers said they expect between 30,000 and 50,000 people at the main demonstration in Dannenberg, in northern Germany. (AP)
