Sweden: US carried out secret surveillance in Sweden since 2000
Government officials say that American surveillance activities have taken place in Sweden without the knowledge of the nation's authorities.
Justice Minister Beatrice Ask says the activities "seem to be similar" to those unveiled in Norway earlier this week - photographing and gathering information about individuals for surveillance and security purposes. (AP)
