Italian FM: Stop construction until peace achieved

Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini called on Israel to renew a moratorium on West Bank settlement construction until a peace agreement is achieved with the Palestinians.
"Europe needs to make a greater effort to convince Israel that an agreement is its first priority," he said on a visit to Riyadh, in Saudi Arabia. (AFP)
