Yisrael Beiteinu takes steps against Ariel boycotters

Yisrael Beiteinu ministers have agreed to take action against the government financing given to artists signed on the petition calling to boycott the cultural center in the city of Ariel.

"These artists have a right to free speech but not to the taxpayers' money", said party chairman Avigdor Lieberman. "Those who call Israel an apartheid state shouldn't enjoy the fruits of Israel's labor, the show must go on but the incitement against the state must stop" he added. (Roni Sofer)
