Barkat asked to remove Palestinian memorial

Knesset Member Miri Regev (Likud) sent a letter to Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat asking that he work towards demolishing a memorial for a Palestinian who was shot to death by a Jew in Silwan in September.
Regev said the memorial "commemorates the legacy of a Fatah activist who headed a terrorist organization." (Roni Sofer, Yair Altman)
