Kadima: Deal between Yishai, Finance Ministry smells criminal

Kadima responded to Interior Minister Eli Yishai's claim that he had reached an agreement with the Finance Ministry on controversial funding for yeshiva students before the vote on the budget, saying, "The political stench it released smells of criminality."
"While the public and (regular) students called for equality, the prime minister acted like a petty dealer and made a deal under the table for the sake of his political survival," the party said. (Roni Sofer)
