The Tel Aviv District Court partially accepted a petition filed against the Interior Ministry by a foreign worker, in demand not to deport her son from Israel.
Judge Sara Gadot rejected the Interior Ministry's claim that the child is staying in Israel only for reasons of "convenience," due to the fact that he is taking care of his half brother and serves as a babysitter, and ordered to overturn the ministry's decision to deport him.
