US and India to work closely on terrorism problem
President Barack Obama and India's Prime Minister Manmoham Singh say the two countries have agreed to work more closely on combating world terrorism and on nuclear nonproliferation issues.
Obama also said he hopes that India and Pakistan over the next few months can "find mechanisms" to work out long-standing differences over the Himalayan region of Kashmir. (AP)
