FM Barak assigned to speak at Knesset during US visit
Foreign Minister Ehud Barak, who is visiting the US, was erroneously assigned to deliver a rebuttal on Monday during a Knesset debate over the Palestinian Authority's intention to declare statehood unilaterally.
The error in scheduling disrupted the discussion, and caused Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin to threaten halting the meeting, before MK Ariel Atias was assigned to take Barak's place. (Roni Sofer)
