At least 12 people were killed and 30 others wounded when a car bomb exploded in Iraq's southern oil hub of Basra on Monday, an Iraqi army source said.
The explosion took place near a busy street filled with restaurants, cafes and shops in Basra's southwestern Qibla district. (Reuters)
