Obama may shorten Indonesia visit over volcanic ash

US President Barack Obama may shorten a visit to Indonesia because of ash in the atmosphere caused by deadly eruptions by Mount Merapi volcano, a White House official said on Tuesday.

Obama arrived on Tuesday on a twice-postponed trip to the world's fourth most populous country and was due to leave on Wednesday. (Reuters)
