IDF arrests senior Hamas official
The IDF arrested a senior Hamas official, Mahmoud al-Ramahi, from his Ramallah home early Wednesday morning, Palestinian sources reported. Al-Ramahi is the Hamas-appointed secretary of the Palestinian Parliament, and represents Ramallah in the parliament. He was jailed in 2006 immediately after the kidnapping of Gilad Shalit, but was released from the Israeli prison last year. (Ali Waked)
