Eilat hospital fire wounds one

A fire broke out overnight at Yoseftal Hospital in Eilat, and a preliminary investigation has revealed that it was probably caused by a homeless man hospitalized there, who fell asleep with a cigarette in his hand.
The man sustained severe burns throughout his body, and was conveyed to Soroka Hospital in Beersheba. Eight of the hospital's staff members suffered smoke inhalation, but have been released to their homes. (Ahuva Mamos)
