Peres offers Israeli support for 2016 Olympic Games committee
President Shimon Peres met with Carlos Nuzman, chairman of the Brazilian Olympic Committee and the Rio de Janeiro Organizing Committee for the 2016 Olympic Games, who is currently visiting Israel, and discussed possible cooperation ahead of the 2016 Olympic Games.
The president offered Israel's assistance and that of Israeli infrastructure, communications and security companies and said, "Israeli companies are at the forefront of world technology and some of them already have experience from previous Olympic Games. Israel will be happy to be at your service and offer Brazil its accumulated knowledge and capabilities." (Ynet)
