France's national state-owned railway company, SNCF, has for the first time expressed its regret over its part in expelling Jews during World War II. Addressing Jewish organizations and public figures in Florida, the company's president said he "deeply apologizes and regrets the outcomes of the company workers' actions, which were carried out under threatening instructions."
