Nobel Peace Prize-winner Aung San Suu Kyi told supporters on Sunday she was not angry with the military junta who kept her detained for 15 of the last 21 years, and that she was treated well during house arrest.
"I don't have any antagonism toward the people who kept me under house arrest...the security officials treated me well. I want to ask them (the junta) to treat the people well also," she said in her first major speech since being freed from seven years of house arrest a day earlier. (Reuters)
