Priel: Defense Minister Barak wasn't involved in illegal maid case

Defense Minister Ehud Barak's wife, Nili Priel, who was charged with employing an illegal maid, wrote to the Supreme Court that Barak was not involved in choosing the foreign worker. She also wrote that she made a mistake, and that she should be punished the same way that other citizens are punished for similar acts. She claimed prosecution – The Legal Forum for the Land of Israel – is taking deliberate actions to "embarrass Ehud Barak." (Aviad Glickman)
